Works exactly as described
Bought this between rains for a 3" round downspout which would pool water in an uneven area of our brick walk. Used Gorilla Tape to fasten it and will probably wind up hiring someone to fashion a 4" to 3" connector. Had another monsoonal rain last night and it works perfectly! All the water now goes down into the back yard and doesn't pool in our side walkway.

Expanding and flexing the tubing into position is fairly tough in a good way because it means it will stay in place
I decided to start my own water collection system and purchased some rain barrels and this flex tubing. I needed to reroute some of my existing rain gutters and drains to my barrel locations. This flex hose allowed me the adjustability I need for my new system. The plastic is very thick and strong so I have no doubts that it will hold its form over time. Expanding and flexing the tubing into position is fairly tough in a good way because it means it will stay in place. It was easy to cut through so I didn't have to play around with a lot of excess tubing. I've had the tubing in use for one full rainy season and it worked perfectly with no problems. There haven't been any signs of wear or weathering.

LOVE IT!!!
It is difficult to "LOVE" a drain pipe!! But, this great and very flexible drain pipe has "fixed" a terrible soaking problem caused by the gutter down drains. The rain gutters just dumped onto the grass and the water really had no where to go. Just puddled there and made a real mess. Now, with the use of 2 rain barrels and the drain pipe attached to gutter down spout..the water runs into a pond and the grass is no longer underwater. I can only hope that neighbors see how easily and inexpensive this problem can be "fixed"!! No more squishing around the lawn and I can take the pontoons off of the lawnmower!!!!!

Install Flash Player Such a good deal. I ended up adding the adapter and coupler (got those at home depot, though, they were cheaper. I think I must've had other stuff boost the cost and gotten free shipping though, otherwise they wouldn't have been. Big mistake, anyway, HD takes like 2 weeks to get it to you. Anyway, it's perfect. Lego-Like Solution for Drainage
The whole Flex-Drain system is designed for quick, easy, and snappy solutions for drainage issues. We used this (with the Flex-Drain ADP53102 Downspout Adaptor & Flex-Drain 55020 Drain Pipe Coupler Adapter) to route a downspout away from our garage to the end of the driveway...garage WAS flooding with a heavy rain...NOW all good. The pieces snap together (like legos...sort of) and are easy even for me (lawyer doing a bit of DYI) to get done...highly recommended! (NOTE - see the flex drain web site for some neat videos demonstrating installation...very easy even for me).

Flex-Drain can be the answer to your drainage problems!
We had a drainage problem caused by the physical position of our house on a sloping lot that caused a lake to form at the front door. In one downpour, the "lake" extended all the way across the front of the house and across the front of the garage! We added gutters and had the downspouts positioned with alleviating the drainage problem in mind. After gutter installation, we attached the Flex-Drain adapter to a downspout and the Flex-Drain Flexible/Expandable 25" pipe, which we ran behind shrubbery to a French drain already in place at the front corner of the house. Voila! Problem solved!!! Now the "lake" is totally gone, and the water runs off as it should have originally. This is a GREAT product!

It works
I needed to move water beyond my shed. By the way it was constructed I could make it as long as I needed without it being too long. It took only moments to connect onto my shorter drainpipe and bury it.

Great for keeping the neighbors happy.
We have had an excessive amount of rain this year and everything is water logged by now. With the coupler, this was a great addition to my gutter downspout and directs the water onto my lawn which is much better than having it erode the ground next to my neighbors' driveway. They complained; I listened . . . and this was the perfect solution for all of us at a very reasonable cost. Thanks!!!

Flexible and works well
Flex-Drain 51110 Flexible/Expandable Landscaping Drain Pipe, Solid, 4-Inch by 25-Feet I bought this flexible pipe in order to complete a drainage project. The existing drainage pipe comes in spools of 50 feet or 100 feet, and I needed something smaller that would only fit a 20 foot area. I decided to test out this drainage pipe since it said it would be flexible. Once delivered the pipe is pretty easy to bend and push to any size you need. I like that if I wanted to I wouldn't have had to made the drain as straight as possible. It feels strong and I believe it will last for years. Overall I am very pleased with the flex pipe and I would buy it again.

It’s perfect for getting water away from my foundation.
I’ve purchased the longer lengths of this item that were perforated but I needed something to get some water away from the house rather than using gutters, downspouts and all the parts they require. We get a lot of snow here and it always seems to melt quickly on a sunny day and it all collects around my foundation or in front of my garage and then freezes at night so it’s a slippery mess the next day. I installed some underground drainage but still had problems with some pathways I clear to get to the outbuildings or under the eaves near my firewood. The gutters work fine but all the water then deposits in the same spot and it’s a mess… either wet or frozen. Doing the downspout thing is expensive with end caps, elbows, pipe and extensions so this accomplished it all for under 7-bucks per gutter. I made some hangers to hold one of these on the end of a gutter and then ran it down to the ground and out into the yard so end of the mini lakes. I could only buy three at a time and needed four. Prices changed daily and it was either an add-on or too expensive so I purchased the last one at HD. I’ll take these down for the summer because it’s dry and I can mow around the area. Nice item and no complaints about it. It may not look as good as all those gutter and downspouts but out here in the boonies I really don’t care. The price of the 12-foot lengths was more cost effective than buying longer ones and then cutting them down. I have two 18-foot sections and cutting one pipe in half to join with a 12-footer was perfect to get the water from the roof out over my 10-foot tarp and out to a drainage canal. I can easily take it down for the long dry summers.
