Depends what kind of involvement Choosing for the woman what do to with the woman's body, as she is the pregnant one seems unfitting, choosing if he wants responsibility for the child or not (which means paying child support and such) seems fitting

Competitive Coaching Centre

Yeah if a woman can opt out of parenthood the man should to. Obviously he can’t force her to either abort nor keep the child, but if he doesn’t want a child he should be able to opt out of any parental duties as long as the fetus is at a legaly abortable stage.

Gail Conley

When the man doesn't want the child: sure, that can be discussed. If the man wants it and the woman doesn't, there is no discussion to be had. You can't force someone to go through pregnancy.

Carmen Spasevski

The man should be able to opt out of parenthood if he doesn’t want the woman to have the baby and sex was consensual, but he should not have the right to decide whether the woman has the baby or not. It’s not the man’s bodily autonomy what’s involved, but the woman’s.

Mumtaz Sher

Two things i think everybody who is not against abortion can agree on: 1) You shouldn't be able to force a woman to have a full term pregnancy 2) You shouldn't be able to forca a woman to have an abortion. Every solution involving men has to work around that.

Jerrie Pat Gale

If a woman doesn't want the father to have a choice, she shouldn't demand child support money.

Saima Shahbaz

So a man can force a woman to abort?

Eihn Ebi Sacam

this is not an issue about men or women. the choice should be the choice of the person that's pregnant. if a man manages to get pregnant he can have all the same abortion rights.

William Robert Leathers

I too agree with it, but only if we also include the baby's opinion.

Marietjie Michelle Smit

I would go with abortion within time limit (heartbeat bill) but only with permission of the other other participant (male) If the underlying intention was to not get pregnant, then they both agree to use a condom, right? They'd also agree to use other forms of contraception. If so, then the abortion should also be made by mutual decision, with the default option being not going for abortion. If the decision was forced, such as via coercion and force, then I'd assume the contraception being poured in and used as soon as being free from coercion. The pregnant woman would down a plan B and drink tansy tea, but if her actions don't accord with the prevention, I can't call her being averse to pregnancy, thus I can't see a reason for an abortion.

Sieku Chiri Sambu

No, men should not have a say in whether a women has Togo through a process with heavily bodily impact for 9months. They should be able to give up parenthood if a women decides to not have an abortion tho.

Joe Farrell

Men are free to keep their pants on. If you're not ready for the consequences, either way, you are not mature enough for sex.

Nisim Salinas

Im not fine with it but i will tolerate it based on that and that my tax dollars arent spent on it.

Shari Crimmins

The one who dies must have the right to choose, that's why i'm against abortion and pro euthanasia/medical assisted suicide. My boddy my rules, got it?

Pauline Rayno

Yeah, men have the freedom of choice to put a condom on their dick or don't fuck chicks they don't know and could potentially lie to them. Also, when there is a pregnancy resulting from a sexual encounter, all the changes that are going to happen first fall completely on the shoulders of the woman. She is the one who has to go to the doctor, she is the one experiencing hormonal and bodily changes, she is the one experiencing medical risk. The pregnancy literally changes nothing for the man, except maybe some psychological change (if any) and once the baby is born of course. So, I think it is pretty safe to say the decision is ultimately up to the woman, though of course, men can take an active part in it and if they are not complete assholes the woman will usually let them.

Yvonne Hines

It’s called not ejaculating.

Yağmur Ceren

Abortion should not be legal unless the pregnancy is a threat to the mother. Why is killing a baby in the womb any different than killing it out of the womb it's the same baby so why should one be considered murder and the other one not?

Martie June

Call me a socialist, but a UBI for single mothers would solve the problem without giving men the right to force a women to have an abortion. That way she would be financially independent, while the man has the option to leave. But thats total communism and death squads in the streets and all that shit.
